2019 Giuseppe Galliano Brut Nature VSQ
Grapes: 20% Chardonnay, 80% Pinot Noir
Production: The base wine is created from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes and bottled in April following the harvest. After dosage and the addition of yeast, it undergoes second fermentation. The wine then matures on lees for 48 months before riddling and disgorging prepare it for consumption.
Tasting Notes: Fine, intense perlage with a persistent foam and a compact straw colour. The complex bouquet offers hints of fruit, yeast, crusty bread, almonds, and sugared almonds. A delicious impact on the palate finishes with a slightly bitter sensation.
Gastronomic Pairings: Excellent as an aperitif or for any celebratory toast. It pairs well with antipasti, well-structured rice and pasta dishes, and elegant main courses.
